Bvlgari has unveiled its collaboration with fashion designer Alexander Wang, who presented his urban chic vision of the Serpenti Forever bag, during New York Fashion Week.
The Californian fashion designer was invited to propose his fresh vision of the Maison’s iconic Serpenti Forever model.
Known for his high-low style and sophisticated creations, the designer reivented the traditional luxury leather goods for his collection of handbags.
Inspired by packaging components such as paper shopping bags, the collab unites a mix of traditional silhouettes and innovative shapes. The leather pieces are elevated by serpent head jewels inspired by a vintage Bvlgari model from the 1950s, the heritage of the celebrated jewelry maker.
The collection is composed of six bags, each available in different sizes and materials, from leather in a color palette of white, black and mint green, to natural python skin and shiny lizard.
