Friday Flashes - Hawaii
After all of your emails asking me about my Vacay to Hawaii, I decided to post some pics and give you guys a scoop about Waikiki and the beautiful Oahu Island.
Think about happiness, yes I was lucky enough to visit the Hawaiian Island for my first time ever. It was shocking that I had never been before and now I can’t wait to return!
Along with my hubby, I explored the island of Oahu and got to experience amazing landscapes, sunsets, cuisine, and the true “Aloha” hospitality!
Beaches, jungles, nature – oh my!
If you’re lucky enough to visit Oahu for a period of time, there are some highlights you must see! I highly recommend surfing or taking a surf lesson on the Legendary Waikiki Beach, visiting the Byondo-In Temple, also Diamond Head (if you are a hiking person). The amazing Lanikai Beach in Kailua for all kinds of aquatic sports is a must, the night markets and restaurants for delicious food and Hawaiian style is something that you cannot miss as well!
Some musts for a day in Oahu: Foodland and sunset happy hour in Waikiki was one of my favorite experiences, but of course, some Hawaiian food dishes will do the trick too!
So, when you visit Oahu, be sure to soak in the scenery, hospitality, waves and tastes, because it is truly unlike anywhere else in the world!
I just loved being in Hawaii and I am planning on getting back as soon as possible to explore the other Islands… Maui is on my bucket list! LOL See you there!
